TrainRouter is a one-person hobby project, not a company. There is no support desk — but every message about the data gets read, and corrections are usually made within a day.

Something on the map is wrong

This is the most useful thing you can send. A wrong distance, a service that no longer runs, a line drawn on the wrong rails, a train missing entirely — all of it is welcome, and none of it needs to be polite or formal. The fastest route is an issue on the atlas's GitHub repository, which is also where the open dataset lives.

Fixes are dated and credited by name or handle in the corrections log — 65 of them so far. If you would rather not be credited, say so and you won't be.

Can I reuse the data?

Yes, and you do not need to ask. All 1211 routes are published as open data under CC BY 4.0 — CSV, JSON and GeoJSON, archived with a DOI — so attribution is the only condition. The map itself can also be embedded on any site for free, and there is an MCP server if you want the atlas inside an AI assistant.

Privacy, or anything legal

Write to privacy@flightmussy.com. That address reaches the person responsible for this site; what is recorded and for how long is set out in full on the privacy page. This site carries no ads, no advertising networks and no third-party trackers, and sells nothing.

Everything else

Questions about a specific journey are better answered by an operator or a journey planner than by me — this atlas publishes approximate route facts, never live times, and cannot sell a ticket. For most of Europe, bahn.de is the one planner worth knowing.
