Crosses the Continental Divide inside the 10 km Moffat Tunnel, then follows the Colorado River two dome-car days to Moab’s red rock.
Launched in 2021 as Rocky Mountaineer’s first American route and rebranded Canyon Spirit for the 2026 season, this glass-domed cruise train takes two unhurried days from Denver to Moab with a hotel night in Glenwood Springs. Beyond the Moffat Tunnel it locks onto the Colorado River, running through Gore, Glenwood and Ruby canyons that no highway enters. A new third-day extension continues across the Utah desert to Salt Lake City.
